ABOUT THE ARTIST
The creative process is my passion. After working as a professional graphic designer for 20 years, I decided to pursue my interest in jewelry making. Studies in art history have influenced my jewelry designs and they have been described as “contemporary interpretations of classical themes." I use metal fabrication, lost wax casting and wire wrapping techniques. Materials used are: gold, silver, bi-metal, semi-precious gemstones and pearls. I sell at select juried art festivals and fine art/craft galleries in the San Francisco Bay Area.
I have a B.A. in Art and Design and an M.A. in Art Therapy. I studied jewelry and metal work in college and have done substantial post graduate training in jewelry making at the Revere Academy in San Francisco, Marin and Santa Rosa Junior Colleges, and the Mendocino Art Center.
